Personal Information:
Doug began his second term as Supervisor in January 2008. Doug was born in the Comers Rock area of Grayson County. After completing his education, he entered the United States Marine Corp and did a tour in Vietnam. After discharge from the service he worked in the construction business in Northern Virginia. He then returned to the County and currently resides in Baywood with his
wife. Attends the Galax Weselyn Church and is a member of the Independence Gideons. Also a member of the Independence Chapter of the VFW and the Baywood Ruritans. Owner of C & C Builders and C & C Saw & Tool Sharpening.
Currently is employed by Amber Contracting as Superintendent.
